About AAU The Right Way
In an effort to nix the unequal “pay-to-play” model, which keeps girls of color from participating in competitive sports, Shooting Touch Boston (STB) provides year-round travel basketball via the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), 100% free of charge to all STB athletes. In addition to providing access to high-level competition, AAU The Right Way athletes participate in weekly educational enrichment, focusing on health and wellness, identity, life skills, and more. Our custom educational curriculum and mentorship activities are delivered by STB staff and program partners, with guest visits from local leaders and subject matter experts.
