ABOUT the nobles faculty TrIP

From June 12th to June 21st, a group of faculty and staff from Nobles will be traveling to Rwanda with Shooting Touch for an immersive experience with our on-the-ground programs. This impactful journey will offer firsthand insight into how Shooting Touch uses sport to promote health, education, and gender equity across communities in Rwanda. In preparation for the trip, we’ve set an initial fundraising goal of $5,000.

ABOUT Shooting Touch Rwanda

Shooting Touch is an international sport-for-development organization based in Boston, Massachusetts, dedicated to using the mobilizing power of basketball to bridge health and opportunity gaps for youth and women facing racial, gender, and economic inequalities. Since launching Shooting Touch Rwanda (STR) in 2012, the organization has expanded its reach in Rwanda’s Eastern Province, providing access to basketball, public health education, and gender equality initiatives in six sectors across Bugesera and Kayonza Districts.
