Justin Kittredge is the Co - Founder of Shooting Touch, Inc. and chimes in on the operations and development of the organization when he is not busy (which is never) running his new footwear startup, ISlide, Inc. Justin's incredible vision for Shooting Touch has been the founding and driving force behind its fast moving growth here in Boston and overseas. Justin's energy and passion for Shooting Touch is incredible and felt by all who come before him.
Justin spent the past 15 years working in the athletic footwear industry, most recently as the Director of the Basketball Product Division at Reebok. Justin and his team worked to create, market and sell NBA basketball shoes throughout the United States and abroad. In January, 2013 Justin left Reebok to start his own footwear company called ISlide, Inc. which manufactures, markets and sells premium custom athletic sandals. The company having launched in August of 2013 is already garnering the attention and support of big and small box retailers around the country.
Justin was the Guinness World Records™ holder for the most completed basketball free throws in two minutes in 2010. By completing 64 free throws in 120 seconds, averaging a basket every 1.875 seconds, Justin beat the previously held record of 60 shots by Olympic silver medalist and basketball star, Laurent Sciarra, of Paris, France. He also holds the record for most completed blind folded free throws in two minutes and is in the process currently of getting a new record approved.
Justin is a graduate from Northfield Mt. Hermon School and James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia and proud husband and father of two wonderful little girls.
BOSTON ASSISTANT PROGRAM DIRECTOR
For the past 12 years Arturo J. Forrest II has worked with middle-school-aged youth in the Dorchester/Mattapan/Roxbury area as a teacher, school leader and coach, working at both the Epiphany School and at Helen Y. Davis Leadership Academy. After earning Master's in Art of Teaching from Simmons College, Alturo taught ELA, and Social Studies at Epiphany, while simultaneously serving as Dean of Students and Evening Programs Coordinatol. At Davis Leadership Academy, Arturo served on the Instructional Leadership Team as Rites of Passage Coordinator and Parent Liaison. In his new role as Director of Teaching and Learning/Principal he partnered the school with Shooting Touch, providing quality basketball instruction and health knowledge to the young women of the Academy. Mr. Forrest has coached girls basketball at both schools for 12 consecutive years as well as for The Boston Showstoppers AAU program. Currently, Arturo is the Community Liaison for Boston programming, using his connections to establish strong ties in the area for parents and families, school leaders and community organizations that support the youth in the area.
SHOOTING TOUCH, INC. LEGAL COUNSEL
As Shooting Touch Inc.'s Legal Counsel, Jaron Brown is responsible for overseeing all grants and providing all legal advise and counsel pertaining to all 501 (c) (3) business matters.
Jaron is currently an associate attorney with King & Spalding LLP in the firm's Atlanta office. His practice includes representing private equity funds in leverage buyout transactions, and public and private companies in M&A transactions and general corporate matters. Mr. Brown also has worked closely with clients on general contracting, commercial transactions, joint ventures and strategic alliances.
