Applicants for this program will be US graduating seniors attending any college or university.
The Sabbatical Program projected timeline is as follows:
2011-2012 CALENDAR
October 1st – January 31st
- Open application process
February 1st – February 15th
- Shooting Touch, Inc. reviews submitted applications and narrows down the field to five (5) finalists
February 16th – March 1st
- Five (5) finalists create a YouTube.com presentation answering questions we provide. Presentation due via email February 31st.
March 1st – March 10th
- Board of Directors vote on the winner
March 15th
- Sabbatical Program Grantee is announced
March 15th- June 15th
- Grantee works with Shooting Touch, Inc. staff in finalizing program details, travel arrangements, visa, passport, work/live program initiative
June 15th-September 12th
- Grantee spends summer as he/she wishes preparing for trip
September 13th-15th
- Grantee will be required to attend and publically accept his/her $25,000 grant/stipend in Boston, Massachusetts. Annual Sabbatical Program Fundraiser slated for September 15th, 2012.
September 16th- September 30th
- Sabbatical Program Grantee makes final arrangements for trip
October 1st
- Grantee’s 10 month Sabbatical Program BEGINS
October 1st 2012 – June 30th 2013
- Grantee’s Sabbatical Program
July 1st 2013
- Sabbatical Program Grantee returns HOME
September, 2013
- Sabbatical Program Grantee presents trip and experience at Shooting Touch Annual Fundraiser and passes the torch and awards next program Grantee(s).
