Applicants for this program will be US graduating seniors attending any college or university.
The Sabbatical Program projected timeline is as follows:
2010-2011 CALENDAR
October 1st – December 31st
- Open application process
January 1st – January 15th
- Shooting Touch, Inc. reviews submitted applications and narrows down the field to five (5) finalists
January 16th – January 31st
- Five (5) finalists create a YouTube.com presentation answering questions we provide. Presentation due via email January 31st
February 1st – February 10th
- Board of Directors vote on the winner
February 15th
- Sabbatical Program Grantee is announced
February 15th- April 15th
- Grantee works with Shooting Touch, Inc. staff in finalizing program details, travel arrangements, visa, passport, work/live program initiative
April 24th
- Shooting Touch, Inc. Annual Fundraising Dinner
- Sabbatical Program Grantee will be required to attend and publically accept his/her $25,000 grant/stipend
April 25th- May 15th
- Sabbatical Program Grantee prepares for graduation
May 15th –May 31st
- Sabbatical Program Grantee makes final arrangements for trip
June 1st
- Grantee’s 10 month Sabbatical Program BEGINS
June 1st 2011 – March 1st 2012
- Grantee’s Sabbatical Program
March 1st 2011
- Sabbatical Program Grantee returns home
April, 2012
- Sabbatical Program Grantee presents trip and experience at Shooting Touch Annual Fundraiser and passes the torch and awards next program Grantee(s)
