Legendary St. Anthony's high school basketball coach, Bob Hurley, has helped win his teams over 1000+ games, including 26 state and 4 national championships throughout his 35 year career, with a most recent National Championship in 2010-2011 season. Coach set the modern-day New Jersey state high school record with 66 consecutive victories. He has coached 3 NCAA All- Americans coached and 5 NBA players.
Coach Hurley was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010 as only the THIRD high school coach ever to be inducted. Father of Bobby Hurley (former Duke player # 7 overall draft pick of the Sacramento Kings in 1993) and Danny Hurley (former Seaton Hall player and current coach at St. Benedicts Prep coach), each of whom played under Coach Hurley at St. Anthony's High School.

Kenny Atkinson currently serves as the Assistant Coach for the NBA's New York Knickerbockers.
Atkinson joined the Knicks after spending the 2007-08 season as the Director of Player Development with the Houston Rockets where he was responsible for improving player performance through on-court, one-on-one skill development and the use of video analysis.
Atkinson joined the Rockets after three years serving as the Director of Player Development/Assistant Coach with the Paris Basket Racing Club in France from 2004-06. While in Europe, Atkinson also was a Reebok EuroCamp Coach in Treviso, Italy during the summers of 2005 and 2007. He spent the 2006 summer as the Director of Player Development for the national team of the Republic of Georgia.
Following a standout collegiate career at the University of Richmond where he led the Spiders to a Sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA Tournament, the Northport, NY-native and St. Anthony’s HS (South Huntington) graduate played professionally in Italy, France, Holland, Germany and Spain from 1991-2004.

DEE BROWN

Dee Brown is a retired American professional basketball player who spent twelve seasons (1990–2002) in the NBA, playing for the Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors, and Orlando Magic.
A 6'1" (1.85 m) guard from Jacksonville University, Brown was selected by the Celtics with the 19th pick of the 1990 NBA Draft. He was a member of the NBA All-Rookie Team in his first year, when he played in all 82 games and averaged 8.7 points per game. One of the highlights of his career occurred in 1991, when he won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest with a "no-look" slam dunk. He was a starter for Boston during the 1993-94 and 1994-95 seasons and posted his best scoring numbers, averaging more than 15 points per game each of those years. After seven and a half seasons with the Celtics, he was traded to the Raptors along with Chauncey Billups in 1998. Overall, during his career, he scored 6,758 total points.
Brown later served roles in the Women's National Basketball Association first as a head coach for the Orlando Miracle and then as the head coach for the San Antonio Silver Stars. As a co-host on "Full Court Press", a daily NBA Talk Show on Sirius Satellite Radio. Previously he was an NBA Analyst on ESPN, ESPN News and the NBA Fastbreak Show which airs on ESPN 2. He was the recent winner of the ESPN Show “Dream Job 3”. He is also the host of ESPN Original Entertainment Show “City Slam” , a show that travels around the country to find the best street ball dunkers in America.
On May 3, 2008, Brown was inducted into the Jacksonville University Athletics Hall of Fame.
Brown is on the Advisory Board for the Florida Association of Basketball Coaches. He is a partner with Beacon Six LLC, the group that owns the upscale restaurants such as The Beacon and Stardust Lounge in Thorton Park, a Special Limited Partner with Grace Venture Partners, a firm which specializes in providing equity financing for the commercialization of military technologies. Brown also serves on the Board of Directors for the UCF Foundation, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Florida and the National Advisory Board for the DeVos Sport Management Program at the University of Central Florida and is involved in numerous of local charities including his own foundation EDGE for Kids, Inc. and was named a YMCA 2002 Black Achiever.

WAYNE EMBRY

Wayne Richard Embry is a retired American basketball player; a center/forward whose 11 year career spanned from 1959 to 1969. He played for the Cincinnati Royals, Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks. Embry was also General Manager for the Milwaukee Bucks and the Cleveland Cavs.
He attended Miami University and Tecumseh High School (New Carlisle, Ohio) before that.
He played in the NBA All-Star game for five consecutive seasons (1961-1965) and won the NBA Championship with the Celtics in 1968.
Embry was enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1999.
DANILO GALLINARI
Starting forward for the Denver Nuggets

Selected by New York in first round (sixth pick overall) of 2008 NBA Draft. .Averaged 6.1 points in 28 games (two starts) as a rookie in 2008-09, prior to undergoing season-ending back surgery on Apr. 7, 2009.
Gallinari joined the Knicks after playing four pro seasons in Italy after making hi pro debut (at age 16) with Assigeco Casalpusterlengo (Italian Serie B-1 League) in 2004-05. Galinari signed with Armani Jeans Milano and played on loan with Edimes Pavia (Italian A-2 League) in 2005-06 and participated in 2007 Italian All-Star Game.
Galirani was also named Euroleague’s Rising Star in 2007-08 and was a member of Italian U-18 National Team, and helped lead Italy to bronze medal at 2005 U-18 European Championships in Belgrade, averaging 10.6 points and 4.9 rebounds.
Galinari became Garden fan favorite and one of team’s most popular players immediately upon arrival in New York and in addition to Shooting Touch, Inc. serves a number of charitable organizations in the New York area.

PETE PHILO
Director of International Scouting /Player Personnel for the Minnesota Timberwolves
Pete Philo primary role as Director of International Scouting for the Timberwolves is to scout talent in Europe. Philo served in that same capacity with the Dallas Mavericks for two seasons (2003-05).
Philo also serves as Director of International Scouting for Reebok and the director of Reebok Eurocamp in Treviso, Italy. The Reebok Eurocamp comprises 48 international players ages 17-22. The campers are coached by NBA notables such as Jack Sikma and Kiki Vandeweghe. Additionally, he organized the Pete Philo Basketball School in four countries: Denmark, Iceland, Lebanon and the United States.
Philo played professionally from 1996 to 2001 in Denmark, Lebanon, Poland, Croatia, Iceland and the United States (IBL's San Diego Stingrays).
Philo played collegiately at Manhattan College and the University of South Alabama.
JAY TRIANO
Former Head Coach for the NBA's Toronto Raptors
Jay Triano currently serves as a consultant for the NBA's Toronto Raptors.
Jay is a former Canadian professional basketball player who gained recognition as a coach during his tenure leading the Canadian men's national team. He is also a former national team player, who competed in two Olympics, starting in 1984.
Triano was the head coach of the Canadian men’s national team from 1998-2004 posting a 52-42 (.553) record. He led Canada to a semifinal berth in the 2003 FIBA Americas Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Puerto Rico and to a 5-2 record, second best to the United States, in the 2000 Olympics.
In addition to his duties with Canada Basketball, Triano worked six years as a radio analyst and director of community relations for the Vancouver Grizzlies. He moved to Toronto from Vancouver in 2001 to work as a basketball analyst for TSN.
In May, 2009, Triano was given a three-year deal to remain head coach of the Raptors.
BOBBY HURLEY, Jr.
Former college and NBA star, current Coach at Wagner University
Bobby Hurley, Jr. was a McDonald's All American High School basketball player and played High School basketball at St. Anthony High School and in 1989 his team was 32-0 and became USA Today National Champion.
As a Duke University star, Bobby became the NCAA All time Assist Leader. He also led his team as a two time NCAA Champion in 1991 & 1992. Bobby Duke #11 jersey was retired in the Durham arena.
After college, Booby went on to play 5 seasons in the NBA for the Sacramento Kings & Vancouver Grizzlies.
Bobby is now coaching alongside his brother Danny at Wagner University. Bobby is currently living in New Jersey with his wife,Leslie, and their three children, Cameron,15, Sydney,13, & Bobby,7.
JASON TERRY
NBA Star and 2010 Champion for the Dallas Mavericks
Terry , aka The JET, was drafted out of the University of Arizona by the Atlanta Hawks in the 1999 NBA Draft as the 10th overall selection. In the 2000-01 season, Jason emerged as the team’s best player, averaging 19.7 points and leading the club in steals, assists and free throws made. After spending his first five seasons with the Hawks, Terry was traded to the Mavericks just prior to the start of the 2004-05 season.
On July 1, 2006, after spending only 12 hours on the free-agent market, Jason Terry agreed to a 6-year contract with the Dallas Mavericks.
Terry won an NCAA Championship with the University of Arizona and was Arizona's all-time leader in steals. Finished his college career with 245 steals and was the only player in Arizona history to collect more than 1,000 career points and 200 career steals . Terry capped his senior year by being named: First Team All-America by AP; National Player of the Year by Sports Illustrated, CBS/Chevrolet and Rawlings/Basketball Times; and Pac-10 Player of the Year ... First Pac-10 player to lead the conference in scoring (21.9 ppg), assists (5.5 apg) and steals (2.8) since Gary Payton in 1988-89.
Terry lives with his wife and four children in Dallas.

FRAN FRASCHILLA
ESPN - Basketball Analyst and Announcer
Fran Fraschilla joined ESPN as a college basketball game and studio analyst in 2003. He has served as the analyst on ESPN’s Big Monday Big 12 telecast since the 2004 season. In addition to men’s college basketball, Fraschilla has been an analyst on ESPN’s NBA Draft coverage since 2004 and the network’s NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship since 2006.
Fraschilla had coached at the collegiate level for 23 years, posting an overall record of 175-100. When he joined ESPN, he ranked as the 34th winningest active coach in men’s college basketball. His teams made eight post-season appearances in nine years, including three NCAA appearances (1993, 1995 and 1998).
Fraschilla was graduated from Brooklyn College with a bachelor’s degree in American history in 1980.
Sam Presti recently completed his fourth season with the Oklahoma City Thunder after being named the 11th General Manager in club history on June 7, 2007. During his tenure with the Thunder, Presti has assembled the building blocks for long-term success both on and off the court.
During the 2010-11 season, Presti and his staff oversaw the Thunder’s completion of a 55-win season before becoming the youngest team in the last quarter century to reach the NBA’s Western Conference Finals.
After his third season at the helm of the Thunder, Oklahoma City experienced one of the largest turnarounds in NBA history with a 27 game -win improvement was tied for the eighth largest improvement in NBA history. After capturing the franchise’s first playoff birth in Oklahoma City, Presti was named NBA Executive of the Year by The Sporting News.
Since moving to Oklahoma City in July of 2008, Presti has stressed the importance of community involvement for both Thunder players and staff. Under his leadership, the Thunder players have made more than 600 community appearances in and around Oklahoma City.
Prior to joining the Thunder, the 34-year-old Presti held a variety of roles with the San Antonio Spurs from 2000 to 2007. Presti currently resides on the board of the Oklahoma City National Memorial and with the support of the Thunder has established the Forward Thinking Leadership Development Program within the Oklahoma City public schools. Additionally, Presti is actively involved with PeacePlayers International (PPI).
An accomplished drummer, Presti has produced three music CDs with all proceeds benefiting the Extra Ordinary Needs Fund at Children’s Hospital in Boston. In addition, Presti established the Keenan Smith-Anthony Halls Scholarship Fund at his former high school, Concord-Carlisle, to assist students with their college tuition.

In 1999, MacMullan worked with Larry Bird on his autobiography, “Bird Watching: on Playing and Coaching the Game I Love.” In 2006 she released “Geno: In Pursuit of Perfection” with Geno Auriemma. MacMullan has been a correspondent for several cable television networks such as ESPN, CNNSI, Comcast Sports, and WHDH-TV in Boston. She is also a regular contestant – not to mention the only female, on the ESPN program “Around the Horn.”
On May 12, 2010, Jackie MacMullan and longtime Cleveland Cavaliers radio play-by-play announcer Joe Tait received the Curt Gowdy Media Award from the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.[3] The awards are presented annually to members of the print and electronic media who made a significant contribution to the game of basketball. MacMullan was the first woman to receive the honor in its 21-year history.
