BASKETBALL HEALTH CORPS: IN-COUNTRY PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Lisanne joined Shooting Touch in October of 2013 as one of our two 2013-2014 Fellows. Along with Remy N'diaye, Lisanne was instrumental in furthering the direction for Shooting Touch's Basketball Health Corps program in Rwanda. After her yearlong work program, Lisanne was in love with all things Rwandan and decided to extend her work overseas and become Shooting Touch's second In-Country Program Director.
Proficient in Kinyarwandan, Lisanne has been a critical reason why our program in Rwanda is working and growing. Lisanne has made endless connections and will continue to train our current Fellows on the ground. She is responsible for all international partnerships, roles and corporate responsibilities throughout Rwanda and Africa.
Lisanne is a graduate of Queens College and from Toronto, Canada.
BASKETBALL HEALTH CORPS: HEAD COACH RWANDA
A native of the Kigali suburbs, Patrick grew up playing basketball and in 2012 met Casey Stockton BHC Fellow ‘12-’13 and together the two established Shooting Touch’s first court in the country’s Eastern Province. Patrick moved out to Rwinkwavu in 2013 and has been the unwavering and central figure, supporting our non-Rwandan staff in all things basketball and otherwise. His fluency in all three of Shooting Touch languages; English, Kinyarwanda, and Basketball has been integral in the delivery of on- and off-court programming as well as the success and growth of the organization. Always positive and wearing a smile Patrick has helped carry the Basketball Health Corps now marking his 5 year anniversary with the organization.
