Applicants for the Shooting Touch Sabbatical Program must be American graduating seniors attending any college or university within the United States. Graduates students are welcome to apply.
The application pool is narrowed down to the top (5) finalists at which point each candidate creates a video presentation including more information on a personal biography, the work program he/she would like to pursue and a detailed, convincing reasoning why he/she is the best candidate for the job. The presentations are circulated to our Board of Directors and each Board member votes on the candidate they best see fit for the Sabbatical Program.
Applicant(s) will be reviewed on his/her academic success, diverse background, experience with the sport of basketball, overall enthusiasm for the game, his/her role and approach to their individual work program.
Our goal is to review all applicants and choose the most diverse, experienced and passionate candidate as possible - an individual who convinces us that they can impact the global community and promote plosive social change through the game of basketball.
All applicants will be notified by the 1st of February, 2012 if they have been chosen as finalists for the Grant. For more details, please see the available application.
